Colby wins THREE awards at GEEB symposium!

Congratulations to Colby Behrens for winning Students’ Choice, Faculty Choice and Best Overall at the annual GEEB symposium. Colby showed that sticklebacks from a population that does not provide care produce larger clutch sizes, smaller eggs, embryos that develop faster and are more bold as fry relative to sticklebacks from a sympatric caring population. Turns out that the evolutionary “loss” of care has consequences for other members of the family…
